กาลครั้งหนึ่งนานมาแล้ว มีหญิงสาวคนหนึ่งผิดหวังในรักเนื่องจากคนรักของตนได้มาทิ้งไปจึงกำลังจะฆ่าตัวตาย ขณะนั้นเองมีพระธุดงส์รูปหนึ่งผ่านมาพบเข้าจึงได้กล่าวให้สติกับสีกา ว่า
“โยมจะทำอะไรรึ” หญิงสาวตอบ “อิชั้นจะฆ่าตัวตายเพราะไม่รู้จะอยู่ไปทำไม มีแฟนๆ ก็มาทิ้งไปเจ้าค่ะ” พระธุดงส์จึงได้เทศนาให้หญิงสาวฟังว่า ...
